Dysprosium fluoride is a kind of white powder. Its density is 7.465g/ml, melting point is 1360℃ and the boiling point is 2200℃. It’s insoluble in water, hydrochloric acid,nitric acid and sulfuric acid, soluble in perchloric acid.
It’s mainly used to manufacture dysprosium and magnetostriction materials.
